Putting the Cuffs on Cancer Race Description

  • Chief Grant Bailey along with the Saltillo Police Department are doing their part to Put the Cuffs on Cancer by hosting a 5K in Downtown Saltillo. The Saltillo Police Department is diligent about bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community.
  • Proceeds from this race will be donated to the North MS Breast Cancer Center. This inaugural event will recognize survivors with a Survivors Walk escorted by Chief Grant Bailey and the Saltillo Police Department.
  • This race will begin at 8:00am with the Survivors Walk beginning at Renasant Bank and ending at the 5K starting line on Front Street

*Must pre-register to be guaranteed a t-shirt* *No refunds of registration fees* *Rain or Shine Event*

  • Overall awards will be given to males and females in the following categories:

    Overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

    • Masters (40+) 1st Place
    • Grandmasters (50+) 1st Place
    • Great Grandmasters (60+) 1st Place
  • Age division awards will be given three deep to male and females in the following divisions:

    9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & Over
