Ponderosa Polar Challenge

An endurance race set against the stunning backdrop of the Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort right outside of Zion National Park. With distances ranging from 5k to 150-miles, you can decide how far you want to go within a 52-hour time limit. Whether you’re looking for a fun walk/run or an ultra-challenge, the Ponderosa Polar Challenge is about personal growth and community—not just speed. Held the first full weekend in November, the race will feature a 1-mile, 3-mile, and a 5-mile loop that can be run either direction until you complete your race distance. All participants will have access to a campsite, food, and various amenities throughout the entire event, including showers, a hot tub, pickleball, basketball and tennis courts, and more.
