Pink Print 5K Race Description
Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. invites you to our 3rd Annual Pink Print 5K! The theme of this year's event is "Outpacing Poverty.” The purpose is to promote a more unified and healthy community while benefitting Monroe County United Ministries (MCUM). MCUM is a local nonprofit whose vision is to help eliminate generational poverty throughout Monroe County. Their services include but are not limited to:
- Coaching and resource assistance to families and individuals experiencing hardship
- 1:1 support to help individuals reach self-sufficiency
- Full-time, year-round affordable childcare and early childhood education
MCUM’s commitment aligns with Alpha Kappa Alpha’s initiative to help individuals build an economic legacy. Therefore, all proceeds will be donated to MCUM to help advance their mission and better service our community. We encourage you to sign up and meet us there! We'd love to have you.
