Old Town - Orono YMCA Memorial Day 5k Run/Walk Race Description
The Memorial Day 5k Run/Walk is back! Because our service men and women who died during active duty should never be forgotten, the Old Town-Orono YMCA is proud to host this annual Memorial Day 5K. It’s a great chance to get out and be active as a family while teaching kids about the sacrifices others have made.
- Register by Friday, May 2nd to receive a free t-shirt.
- All proceeds go to benefit the Y’s Scholarships for Veterans.
- To register stop by the Y at 472 Stillwater Ave. in Old Town. We must have a registration form filled out and signed in order for you to participate.
When:Monday, May 26
Time:8 a.m. - Registration 9 a.m. - Race Starts
cost: Pre-registration - $10, student; $15, adult; $25, family
Race Day Registration - $15, students; $20, adult; $30, family
Location: Race starts and ends at Old Town-Orono YMCA

Could you create age categories for the 60-69, 70-79 and 80-89 male and females, please? I have run this race for several years and I am 75 years old. There are other runners like me who are older than 50 years old. Also, are the race results now posted? How do I access these results for May 26, 2025?
