This event is hosted by Calla Puccetti for a high school senior project with strong assistance from North Smithfield Non-Profit groups: North Smithfield Heritage Association, North Smithfield Athletic Association, North Smithfield Days, the Town of North Smithfield, the North Smithfield School Department and the North Smithfield Recreation Department. The Northmen 5K is a run / walk 5K race at the Veterans Memorial Stadium in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. Proceeds benefit Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, aiding homeless and at-risk veterans.
