North Carolina Operators Course Race Description

2nd Annual Veterans Day Race Celebration with the GBC and OEW!

In honor of those who have served, The Green Beret Challenge and Operation Enduring Warrior are teaming up to deliver an epic Veterans Day Carolina Operator Course! The venue is located in Laurinburg which is approximately 35 minutes outside Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the home of Special Forces and OEW!

The Carolina Operator Course will host both competitive heats for awards & timing as well as non-competitive heats, scaled for the athletes that are solely interested in completing the challenge.

The 6 mile course will consist of obstacles, the sand hills of central Carolina and of course, and several of the GBC staple endurance challenges (or WODs).

Custom awards for the top 3 Competitive Division overall winners in both the male & female categories. Custom medals will be awarded to the top 3 Competitive Division finishers in the following age categories: 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49 and Masters (50+). Timing chips will be provided for the competitive participants.

After a challenging OCR, grab a cold beer, for those over the age of 21. Compliments of Railhouse Brewery, don your finishers' medal and t-shirt and take advantage of the GBC family friendly OCR venue.

Follow us on the event face book page for continual updates about the race and festivities as we Honor Their Sacrifice!

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR COMPETITION

The GBC Operator Course is a MANDATORY obstacle completion event for the competitive divisions. You MUST complete the obstacle on your own accord without any assistance from a volunteer, fellow competitor or spectator. Any violation to this simle rule will result in your disqualification for podium awards. Always strive to do your very best, that is all anyone can ask of you.

Open division participants have the option to bypass an obstacle that may be too challenging. Your safety is paramount. Enjoy the race course within your abilities and comfort levels.
