NIU STEAM Pi Day Fun Run Race Description
If you multiply it by the diameter of a circle, you can calculate the circumference. It starts with 3.14 but continues forever, never repeating and never ending. What is it? It’s the number π (Pi)!
In celebration of Pi Day (3/14 – get it?), join us to run, walk or roll 3.14 km. This virtual fun run is great preparation for our other favorite pi(e) day tradition – eating lots of pie. Your entry fee includes a race bib, certificate of completion and NIU STEAM commemorative medal. All proceeds go to fund NIU STEAM programming, helping to inspire the next generation of thinkers, dreamers and doers by providing hands-on science, technology, engineering, art and math fun.
