MovingWithHOPE 5K Race

The MovingWithHOPE 5K Run is a great early morning start for a day of running.  Run through Downtown Shelton's Riverdale Ave to Myrtle St, then Grove St and turn around and sprint downhill to the Avalon Apartment complex and loop around to the finish line. Bagels, yogurts, bananas, water, OJ, etc at the finish line! This is the first year for this race but it is looking to be very popular with local runners of all ages and abilities. Take advantage of early registration. The race is limited to the first 500 registered.  T-shirts and Goodie bags to the first 400 registered runners!  On-line registration will close as soon as the 500 limit is reached! Disposable Bib Chip Technology by Fast Track Timing LLC will be used!

No Race Day Registrations
There will be no registrations taken on race day. All registrations will close following the in person registration option and packet pick-up on Saturday March 18th from noon to 3pm at MovingWithHOPE 18 Center St Shelton CT  06484.There will be packet pickups for registered runners on race day.

Awards
First place male & female win $400 each. Second place male & female win $200 and third place male & female win $100. Special awards to the top 3 male and female runners in the High School Division.

T-SHIRTS, RAFFLE, FOOD AND & RACE PACKET PICKUP
Top quality T-Shirts to the first 400 registrants. Great runners “goody bag” for first 400 registered. Special raffle for runners with winning numbers picked and posted while runners are on the course! The Farmers Market and the spacious Derby/Shelton Rotary Club Pavilion will serve as race headquarters with plenty of delicious refreshments available before and after the race. Runners’ packets may be picked up Saturday from noon to three at MovingWithHOPE offices at 18 Center St Shelton CT  06484 and Sunday, at the Farmers Market on race day beginning at 6:30am.

Pricing:

$25 for all 18 years and older except $10 for all high school and grammar school runners. Runners age 70 and over are $10.
