Molly's Knob Challenge - Extreme 5K Race Description
This is not your average flat, 5K. This trail offers much more of a challenge because of the 1,000 plus feet elevation gain in the first 1.7 miles. The course is approximately 3.4 miles long so it is longer than most 5K runs. It begins at the Molly's Knob trail head and goes to the summit and back down again. Come and challenge yourself. The view from the top is worth it! All proceeds benefit Imagination Library of Smyth County.
Each 5K participant will receive a t-shirt, and a unique finisher award. (We cannot guaranteed a t-shirt and the finisher award if registered after September, 13, 2019.) You can also register by contacting us at info@smythchamber.org or 276-783-3161. You can also register the day of the event, but a t-shirt is not guaranteed.
The cost is $25 a person through 9/13/19, which includes a shirt. After 9/13/19, the price is $30 and a t-shirt is not guaranteed. If you are registering 5 or more people through 9/13/19, the entry fee is only $20.
