We HOPE you'll join us in the fight against Lung Cancer! We're taking it one step at a time!
Join us for a morning of hope, remembrance, and community as we celebrate survivors, honor loved ones and raise awareness about the lifesaving power of early detection. Whether you run, walk, cheer on a loved one, or simply come to learn more about lung health, there's something for everyone at Wings of Hope.
Together, we celebrate survivors, honor loved ones, promote early detection, raise awareness, and bring hope to our community. Because every breath matters.

Early Packet Pick-up available from 5-7 PM at FirstHealth Fitness Pinehurst the night before the race.
Saturday, November 14:
8:30 AM Check-in/Registration Begins
(If you're a survivor, please check-in at our Survivor Celebration Station to receive special gifts!)
9:00 AM Opening Celebration
9:30 AM 5K WALK and RUN Begins
Show Your Wings of Hope Spirit!
Dress in your favorite butterfly or lung-themed attire and enter our Costume Contest with Prizes!
More than a 5K...
After the race, join us in the Celebration Village, where you'll find opportunities to connect, learn, celebrate, and honor those impacted by lung cancer.

Eligible participants may receive a low-dose CT lung screening at no cost, courtesy of The Foundation of FirstHealth. Screening eligibility requirements apply.

Wings of Hope 5k to benefit the FirstHealth Cancer CARE Fund:
Established in 2000, the Cancer CARE Fund was the first of The Foundation of FirstHealth’s Community CARE (Clinical, Advocacy, Resources and Education) Funds. Since it's inception, over 3 million dollars has been dispersed to cover the vital needs of cancer patients. Every dollar counts.
100% of the proceeds from this race will go directly to helping our community members navigate cancer needs.
Cost for this race: $25 for adults and $10 for children 13 and under. FirstHealth Employee Discounted Rate: $15 (Must show current ID badge at registration)
Details about the Trail:
Enjoy this walk/run along a 5k trail with modest inclines circling the Pinehurst community among the beautiful longleaf pines and community. This trail is gravel and pavement. Strollers are welcome. Please only service animals.

Cancellations/Refunds:
No Refunds will be given, as this is a charity fundraiser with all funds going directly to the FirstHealth Cancer CARE Fund. We will have no way to refund you.
There will be no rain date.
