5K On The Runway

To be held at the Greeneville Airport, Airport Road, Greeneville, TN.

Starting time will be 10:00 AM sharp.

This will be a socially distanced race on a practically flat circuit. This is a great opportunity for racers to log some “fast times” and greet people they have not seen for awhile. The race sponsors are planning this event with serious COVID-19 precautions in mind. Temperatures will be taken before entering the race course. Masks will be worn by all attendees and runners. Of course, runners will race mask free. Starts will be staggered and race course COVID-19 courtesy regarding “bunching” is in place for all participants for obvious reasons. Hand sanitizer and port-a-potties will be provided. Participants are asked to bring there own water. Strollers and pets are welcome - Headphones, roller blades, skate boards and bicycles are not for safety reasons.

There will be no awards ceremony. Awards are “bragging rights only”.

Certificates will be sent to “top time” male and female runners, and for the top time in each age category.

Preregistration: $25 by 11/1/2020 - Inquire about special rates for teams of 5 or more.

Day of race registration: $30 flat fee, with no guarantee of tee shirt.
