Miles for Maji 5K and Walk Race Description

Our goal with these walks is to inform people of just how difficult the daily lives of many people are. Not only are the walkers experiencing the difficulty of carrying a large bucket of water on their heads, but they are doing that for long distances. They are seeing how much water is lost on the journey and how difficult and how physically draining the walk for water can actually be. This puts walkers in the shoes of Tanzanian people by simulating the trek for water.
