Lincoln Academy Tech Trek 5k Race Description
The Lincoln Academy Tech Trek has returned for another great race in 2018!
Friends! Neighbors! Community members! Young and old! Runners and walkers! Anyone who loves a good time! Join us for our 2nd annual 5K to benefit the technology programs at Lincoln Academy. This year... we are running for CHROMEBOOKS!
Participants will enjoy a 5k run, beginning and ending on the Lincoln Academy running track and winding through quiet residential neighborhoods and along a tree-lined creek path. Our race serves as an excellent Bolder Boulder tune-up or "rust buster", with a similar uphill push to the stadium finish accompanied by the cheers of admiring fans and spectators (and possibly faster runners!!). There will be awards in multiple age groups as well as a CASH PRIZE for the top male and female finishers in the Adult category.
In addition, we are continuing the popular "Digital Dash" sprint races for kids and adults on the infield following the 5k race.
Many of our nation’s students with the highest potential never realize their dream of entering science or technology professions because they lack the educational resources and guidance they need to succeed. We are inviting you to join forces with the teachers, staff and families of Lincoln Academy to help equip our elementary and middle school students to make a positive impact in our community through the worlds of science and technology.
This will be a rain or shine event. No refunds.

Family Friendly! Fun Crowd! Great Cause!
We were there the inaugural year. Loved the course, running through the neighborhood and down the Ralston Creek trail. The finish was a challenge, but the kids felt so accomplished at the end. Great group of people. Fun for the family. What better cause than students? Will do again.
