Hodag Run for Your Life

The YMCA of the Northwoods and Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce are excited to host the 16th Annual Hodag Run For Your Life featuring the 5K Run/Walk, 5K Stroller, 10K and the Free Kids Chase the Hodag. 

START TIMES: All races start at Hodag Park’s beach house in Rhinelander, WI. Our 10K (sponsored by Habush, Habush, & Rottier SC), 5K, and 5K Stroller races will have morning wave times, starting around 8:00AM; more information to be provided on these waves as the race gets closer. The Kids Chase the Hodag, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Rhinelander, starts at approx. 10:30AM.

REGISTRATION: Registration for the 5K, 5K Stroller, and 10K is $35.

RACE ROUTES: Please see the maps of routes below. The course exits Hodag Park following the roads North into Pine Lake then onto Manor Road. The Start/Finish will be at Hodag Park’s beach house with each race going out to a designated turnaround point and coming back on the same route to Finish at Hodag Park.

AGE BRACKETS FOR 5K & 10K: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over. The top 3 males and top 3 females will be awarded in each age bracket. The top overall male and female finishers in each race will receive a special coveted Hodag Award.

PARKING: Please park at Hodag Park, lots of parking is available.

All proceeds from the Hodag Run For Your Life benefit the Y's Annual Support Campaign. This Campaign is a Y initiative that provides financial assistance for programs and memberships to children and families in need… at the Y, no one is turned away due to the inability to pay. Funds raised through our Annual Campaign remain in our community and are made available to local youth, families, and adults.
