Hella Gay 5K Race Description

The Queer Gym brings you the 3rd Annual Hella Gay 5K at the Lake Merritt Amphitheater on September 8, 2018. Slay this 5K with community homos and homies! Once you cross that finish line, grab your free mimosas and get ready dance and check out some of Oakland's best local vendors! Special thank you to our Official Sponsor - Visit Oakland!

Warm-up Time: 8:30 a.m.
Start Run Time: 8:45 a.m.
Free Mimosas: 9:15 a.m.
Music & Vendor Expo: 9:15 a.m.
End Time: 11:00 a.m.

BENEFICIARY

This year all proceeds of the event will go to start the first ever fitness scholarship fund at The Queer Gym. This fund will help us give access to those in our queer community in need of our services that do not have the financial resources to otherwise join.

PARKING

Public street parking is available but allow yourself 15 minutes to find a spot. Make sure you hydrate and stretch. We'll bring the music, giveaways and more importantly the GOOD TIMES!

Can I register onsite?

No. You must register online prior to the online registration deadline.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No. Everyone is welcome! You can even bring your fur babies.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Limited street parking available so we recommend NOT driving there.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. Pulling up registration on your phone will work.

Refunds will be managed as follows. NOTE: Processing fees will not be refunded at any point.

100% Refund if request submitted by close of business Wednesday, August 1st, 2018.

50% Refund if request submitted between Thursday, August 2nd - Tuesday, August 15th.
