Hawk Island Kids Triathlon Race Description
Come race the 14th Hawk Island Kids Triathlon in Lansing at the beautiful Hawk Island County Park on May 30, 2020!!
Ages 14 & under can enter the world of triathlon with courses designed just for them, including a swim portion where most racers can touch at all times! The entire race is held within Hawk Island County Park in Lansing, MI, providing optimum safety for racers & optimum visibility for parents & other spectators! All triathletes will receive a finisher’s medal & race t-shirt. Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers in each age category for both boys and girls.
This event celebrates health, self-esteem, self-confidence, and fun, in a safe, family-friendly environment.
Goldfish (Ages 6 & under): 25m Swim, 150m Bike, 100m Run
*Swim aids, training wheels & parental assistance allowed*
Dolphins (Ages 10 & under): 100 m Swim, 3 mile Bike, 1 mile Run
Sharks (Ages 14 & under): 200 m Swim, 4.5 mile Bike, 2 mile Run
HELMETS REQUIRED FOR ALL RACERS!!
