Moonlight Bootlegger 5K Race Description
Miles, Moonshine, and Music.
2025 marks year thirteen of Moonlight Bootlegger Metro Detroit! Since 2012, thousands of people have enjoyed the amazing tealight lit course, live bluegrass music, and refreshing cocktails at this Moonlight Bootlegger 5K.
For those new to Bootleggin’, this race takes place after dark. Athletes must have a headlamp or flashlight. The trails at Maybury are amazing and mostly free of roots to trip on. We will put out 300+ tea lights along this well-marked trail so you never have to worry about getting lost.
