Half Town Half, 10k and 5k

Join the Windy City Striders on October 5, 2024 for the annual Half Town Half, 10k and 5k.   We have moved the date a bit earlier that the past few years in the hopes that it will be a little bit warmer and less wintery weather! 

All distances start at 9am.  The course will start at the Tate Pumphouse, running along the Platte River Trails to the Paradise Valley Park (for the Half) and coming back along the same route.  

Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome, as are kids (under 12 must run with an adult), dogs and strollers.  The course will be open until 12pm.  If you believe you will need more time than 3 hours, you can begin your run/walk before the official start time anytime after 8am, your chip time just won't be accurate. 

Day of registration will be at the Tate Pumphouse from 8-8:45am, and all participants will pick up bibs the morning of.  Please arrive no later than 8:45am to check in if you are preregistered.  Online registration ends Friday, October 4, 2024 at 7pm.

Register by September 9, 2024 to guarantee your desired shirt size.  We will order extra Mediums and Larges for anyone registered after that date, and they will be assigned on a first registered basis.
