Your finisher medal this year is a flashing sheriffs car, honoring local legend Sheriff Parnell McNamara who starts the race every year with a BANG . Spread the word and line up to race on your own time on your own course !

Flat and fun
Two flat loops along the river. While running along the river you have the lovely views of the river banks and assorted wildlife. You will run through a fire station, twice, and along a road lined with emergency vehicles of all kinds with lights flashing - all for us. Flat course with good support. Love this race and the medals. For the past 4 years the medals have been emergency vehicles complete with flashing lights. Can't wait to see what it is this year.

It was flat and fast just like they said. A smaller crowd than anticipated but plenty of aid stations. Super nice volunteers!
