The Dirty Dog Dare is the final event of the 2018-9 CaniCross season and will be the perfect final test of you and your pup's fitness. We have thrown down the gauntlet and picked the perfect trails at Richard Bong State Recreation Area. Do you dare to run a 4.5-mile single loop? Or how about a double (2 loop - 9.0 miles) or a triple dare (3 loops - 13.5 miles)? Any distance you choose, we know you will have a doggone good time!
Meraki Trail Adventure is the human only companion event to the Dirty Dog Dare CaniCross event. Dog free athletes will have a choice of 3.5, 9.0 or 13.5 miles.
Meraki is a Greek word which means “to do something with passion, with absolute devotion, with undivided attention”. There are many answers to why our participants participate in our events, but they all can agree on the fact, when they are running/walking the trails, they are doing so with passion, devotion, and undivided attention.
XCThrillogy is offering RUNSURANCE on this event. If for any reason you are unable to attend the DIRTY DOG DARE, you can defer your entry to the next year's event, run a similar priced event, or get 80% of your entry fee refunded. Select RUNSURANCE as an option during registration if you are interested.
