Day of Running Race Description

This event is our Crown Jewel of our trail event series, with distances for every runner and walker.

We are excited to be back at Alpine Valley Resort, embracing the Alpine Valley Mountain Bike Trails.

The Hot Hilly Hairy has a long tradition that was built around having a crazy day of running which included 22 running events throughout the day for solo and relay teams that first started on the 5K

Wayne E Dannehl National XC Course in Kenosha. We have moved the event to better accommodate our desire, raise the bar and add to the fun!

If you would like to preview the mountain bike trails to see what kind of trouble you are looking forward to, here is a link... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5pd2ZH6Qd8 What I can tell you is they are the most challenging trails I have run on in SE WI.

There will be two loops – the short loop is 5600 meters (3.48 miles) and the long loop is 13200 meters (8.20 miles).

We will have some great swag options regardless of your distance which will include a t-shirt and customized finishing swag based on your completed distance (ultra or sub ultra distance).
