Centerstage On the Run 5K

Centerstage is proud to present the Centerstage "On the Run" 5K Walk/Run with a 70's Theme starting in Oak Island Park at the Pavilion and running along the beautiful Wausau River Edge Path. All registrations include a runner packet with a T-shirt. We will allow day of registration, but shirt sizes will not be guaranteed after June 18. There will be live music before and after the race from friends of Centerstage. Bands to be announced on the Facebook Event. The proceeds from the race will go toward helping our non-profit with annual operating costs!

Medals will be awarded for the 1st Male and Female to finish as well as the BEST DRESSED male and female at the run. Dress in your best 70's apparel for a chance at the medal!

CenterStage has been in existence since 2006 and has been very involved in the community since then. As one of very few community-based adult show choirs in the entire U.S., CenterStage presents a unique opportunity for a diverse group of members – ranging in age from the 20s to the 80s – to share their talents and passion for music and performance, applying that passion toward community service. We partner with Never Forgotten Honor Flight, singing the National Anthem at events such as the Wausau Curling Club, U.S. Wheelchair Curling Championship, local sporting events (hockey, baseball, pickleball), visiting local shut-ins and nursing homes during holidays,  and participate at Festival of Arts. Once a year, for three nights, we add our band and give a free show at the Grand Theatre (September 28-30). We keep this show free to allow access to anyone that would like to attend in the community. This year we will be doing a 70’s themed show and it is sure to impress!
