Boo-tiful Vista 5K Run and Walk

The BOO-tiful Vista Run features a fun 5K foothills race located in the southwest Denver Metro area. The 5K run is the perfect mix of road and trail and is through the Fehringer Ranch Park which covers a scenic course over the beautiful and fascinating terrain. Curious about sign language? There will be American Sign Language (ASL) sign words on the route so you will be learning ASL as you run or walk! In addition to 5K related signs, we will add Halloween related signs this year! Wear your Halloween costumes when you run or walk! We will have prizes for the best costumes in addition to awards for the finishers. Furthermore, registered runners and walkers will get a free swag bag and a free hearty meal! The Fun Run, for 6 years old and under, is only a quarter of a mile and is located on the school soccer field. Friends or family members are welcome to run with the little ones in the Fun Run at no cost.

After the run, join us for the hearty dinner from 4 PM to 6 PM and the Trunk Or Treat Event from 5 PM to 7 PM. We will celebrate on our school campus as participants complete the Vista Run. The Trunk Or Treat Event is free and open to all. Enjoy everyone's Halloween costumes, fabulous food, free candy and toys from the trunkers for the children, and the creative trunk decorations!

This event is organized and run by the Family, Students, and Staff Organization (FSSO). Support the unique school community by participating in the 5K either by walking or running, participating as a trunker to decorate your car trunk and give out candy or toys to the costumed children (there are prizes for best-decorated trunks and costumes!), and/or purchasing food to satisfy your tummies.

All proceeds from this race and dinner will support the RMDS students.
