Blobfest 5K Race Description
The RUNegades are proud to present The Inaugural Blobfest 5K and Children's Fun Run!
A meteorite has crash landed in Phoenixville and the residents are on the run! Between you and safety lies 5,000 meters of trail. What STRANGE SIGHTS and BLOBSTACLES might you encounter along the way?
When: Sunday July 15th 8:00 am
Where: Phoenixville, PA Down under the Gay Street Bridge (Where they hold the Farmer's Market)

About the Race
Phoenixville's own RUNegades have partnered with the historic Colonial Theatre to bring you a one-of-a-kind running event in celebration of Phoenixville's most unconventional local holiday. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Colonial.
This FLAT, FAST, and FUN course will begin under the Gay Street Bridge (the site of the Phoenixville Farmer's Market), continue over the Phoenix Column Truss Bridge and up a scenic section of the SRT beside French Creek. We'll complete a one-mile loop on the SRT before turning around at High Street.
All participants who register by July 5th are guaranteed a unique Blobfest-5K race T-shirt.
Awards
Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in the 5K race. Medals will be awarded to the top three males and females in each of the following age groups:
14 & Under
15 to 19
20 to 29
30 to 39
40 to 49
50 to 59
60 and over
Cost
$30 until July 1st
$35 July 1st-July 13th
$40 day-of
