Bear Lake Salmon Run 5K Race Description

Join us for the 8th annual Bear Lake Alaskan Salmon BBQ and 5K on Saturday, July 23rd.

The Salmon Run 5K kicks off at 8 a.m.  Starting from the St. Charles City Hall, you'll run (or stroll) along the Jericho Loop, returning to the City Park to dine on fresh Alaskan salmon cooked over hot applewood coals and served up with dutch-oven potatoes, salad, rolls, and a drink!  The barbeque is served from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.  There’s live entertainment again this year featuring local talent.

There will also be bbq’d burgers for those finicky non-fish folks.

The Salmon Run 5K is just $45.00 per person which includes registration, 5k t-shirt AND the barbeque.

Cost for just the fresh Alaskan Salmon BBQ is just $13.00 per person and children 6 to 12 are just $7.00

Make sure to spread the word, tell your friends, bring your family and strangers you met at the beach.  Please help us make this the most successfully tasty year yet!
