Bark N Brew Canicross run/walk Race Description
On August 28th, starting at 10 a.m. participants have the ability to run or walk up to 3 laps of a mile-long loop within Hart Park in Wauwatosa. This event will not be timed but will serve as an introduction to the excitement and bonding of running/walking with your fur best friend. Packet pick up will be on August 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Kenosha Running Company booth.
For those who like to be spontaneous and not plan ahead, same-day sign-up will start at 9 a.m. and will be located at the Kenosha Running Company booth as well.
After the run/walk stay to enjoy the celebration of all of our canine companions with a variety of activities for dogs and humans alike. There will be over 40 vendors, live entertainment, food from Leff's Lucky Town, and a giant beer tent with over 20 local craft beers, wines, and seltzers.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to benefit the Friends of MADACC (Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission). You can find out more about their mission at http://friendsofmadacc.org/
