Baraboo Lions Diabetes Fun Walk/Run Race Description

Come run the Baraboo Lions Diabetes Fun Walk/Run race in Baraboo June 6, 2019 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM!

This weekday evening 5K and Fun Run / Walk is to raise awareness and to educate people on diabetes as well as to raise money for the Baraboo Lions Club's many community projects including eye care and diabetes.

This past year's funds were used to hold a week of Diabetes education for 250 Baraboo 6th grade students, "Preventing Diabetes By The Numbers - 53913". Funds were also used for eye exams, glasses, projects for the Boys and Girls Club as well as other community projects.

The funds raised this year will be used to continue the diabetes awareness week as well as continue to fund the rest of the diabetes programs and community help.

Prizes for first place in the following categories:

Registration:
*After May 22, 2019 including Race Day

  • $30/Adult
  • $20/Child 
  • $25/Person for a group of 4 or more 

 

EarlyBird Registration:
*Must be received before 5/23/2019

  • $25/Adult
  • $15/Child
  • $20/Person for a group of 4 or more 

**Early Bird Registration will get you a t-shirt race day** 

 

Race Packet Pick-up:
Race Day 5:00 - 5:45 PM

 

Amenities:
T-Shirts provided for all Early Bird participants. Water along course, refreshments, and restrooms.

Please print your ticket and turn in at the registration table on race day. 

This event will occur rain or shine. No refunds.
