Annapolis Running Classic Half Marathon & 10K

Avoid this race because it's a scam. I signed up for this race in November 2021. The organizers canceled the race on short notice, citing completely foreseeable issues related to COVID. They promised to reschedule, but they didn't, and they kept the registration fees. Most telling of all is that their "contact info" is all dead ends. Emails bounce with "invalid address", the FB page is years old, etc.

Unfortunately, my son had the same experience as other reviews. Registration paid, race cancelled just days prior to race date, and NO REFUND provided. No response from organizers after multiple attempts. Very disappointing in these organizers to not even offer a response and just keep the money

Canceled with no refund or reschedule date. I emailed the Events Coordinator for Annapolis to see where I can get with her. What a scam!

2021 race canceled due to "safety issues" (which didn't seem to affect other races) about a week before event. Website regularly stated, "Sorry. We'll keep you updated, etc." Multiple unanswered emails, no refund, and one suspended(?) website later... I think we have different understandings of what updated means. Run. Yes, run...away from these organizers. At least don't register until they've been respectful of their current registrants (something I've been trying to do for 6+ months)
