Angie was a woman who had a heart for children. She owned a daycare for sixteen years. Watching children grow and making a difference in their lives was her daily passion. All proceeds from the race go to the Angie Swadley Memorial Fund. Each spring one or two senior scholarships are awarded in her honor.
