FAQs

Where does the money raised go?

All proceeds stay in Delta County to help support the Delta Regional Child Advocacy Center. The Delta Regional CAC services child victims of crime.

What happens if it rains on race day?

You get wet! The race will take place rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, racer safety is a top concern for Delta Regional CAC. On the day of the race, there is always the potential for extreme weather conditions (for example: lightning, tornado, high winds, extreme heat, etc.). The Event Staff will do all we can to make the experience as safe as possible. But if there is severe weather, the race may be delayed as race officials consult public safety officers. If there is more than a reasonable delay, or if conditions persist, race officials reserve the right to shorten or cancel the race. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Please check our Facebook page, Delta Regional CAC or Amazing Race for Child Advocacy Delta County or your email before the race for any changes or cancellations. Once the race starts, race staff at each location will keep you updated about any weather-related changes that arise.

Dress comfortably and wear tennis shoes. Prepare to be outdoors and be active. You may get wet and/or dirty. We encourage teammates to dress alike, but it’s not required.

How will the rules be enforced?

Event Staff will be located along the entire race course to monitor racers. Please be fair and observe all race rules as will be given to you prior to the race. ALL STOPS ALONG THE RACE MUST BE ACCOUNTED FOR ON STAMP CARD.
