Event Description

Kids Event & Registration/11:30 AM  | Walk 1:00 PM

The AASM Color Walk & Roll is a 1-mile, untimed color walk/run designed for fun, connection, and community celebration. This event is all about participation—not speed—so whether you walk, jog, dance, or stroll, you’re welcome just as you are.

Participants will start the route wearing white and, along the way, be showered with vibrant bursts of colored powder. By the finish line, you’ll be covered head to toe in color—each splash representing joy, inclusion, and support for the autism community.

This event is family-friendly and open to participants of all ages and abilities. Strollers, walking groups, and mobility devices are welcome.

Please note: This is not a pet-friendly event due to the colored powder. Service animals are permitted.
Registration is required for all participants to access the course.

Come out, get colorful, and join Autism Awareness of Southeast Missouri for a fun-filled day celebrating community, acceptance, and togetherness.

Fundraising Teams

If you would like to make a team, simply register your team during sign-up and share your team name with family and friends so they can join your team.

Teams are eligible for:

• Largest Team Award (most registered members)
• Top Fundraising Team Award (most funds raised)
• Top Fundraising Individual Award (Top fundraising Individual)

Dedicated Runners Option

If you are a dedicated runner, please select that option on the registration form.

The route is a little over one mile, but runners are welcome to complete two laps for extra distance and extra color!

Shirts & Registration Deadlines

Registration includes an event shirt through April 10, 2026.
After 4/10/26, registrations will no longer include a shirt.

Early bird registration includes a shirt for all paid participants.
The Kids Event is free and does not include a shirt, but shirts may be purchased separately.

Additional Participant Information

What to Wear:
Participants are encouraged to wear white or light-colored clothing to show off the color powder.

Accessibility:
The route is stroller- and wheelchair-friendly. Walkers, runners, and mobility devices are welcome.

Color Powder Notice:
Colored powder is non-toxic and washable. Participants may want to wear sunglasses and clothing they don’t mind getting colorful.

Weather Policy:
The event will take place rain(light) or shine. Severe weather updates will be posted on AASM social media and the event website.
