About Autism Awareness of Southeast Missouri
Autism Awareness of Southeast Missouri (AASM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and their families through community outreach, advocacy, education, and inclusive events. Founded and led by passionate advocates, AASM works to raise awareness, promote acceptance, and ensure that individuals on the Autism Spectrum are valued, understood, and supported across all stages of life.
Our efforts stay 100% local — meaning every dollar raised directly benefits families and programs in Southeast Missouri. From sensory-friendly events and support groups to resource sharing and public education, AASM is committed to creating a more inclusive and compassionate community for all.
