9th annual Joana'sMiles 5k Run/Walk & 1 mile Fun Run

Welcome to the 9th Annual Joana'sMiles 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run to benefit the Joana D. McKeoun Memorial Scholarship. The 5k course is a single loop on a beautiful wooded trail along the scenic Tittabawasse River. The 1 mile Fun Run is a single loop in the back of the park.  

If you would like to participate and support our scholarship but cannot attend in person, there is also a virtual option available! Please make sure you select the correct category when registering!

RACE DATE: August 6, 2022

1 mile Fun/Youth Run starts at 9:00 a.m.

5k Trail Run/Walk starts at 9:20 a.m.

Cost: $10 per person or $20 per family (parents and their own children). 

REGISTRATION & SHIRT INFO:

Online registration for the in-person event is available until Thursday, August 4, at midnight. All pre-registered participants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $25 gift card to Runners Athletic Company. On race day you will also receive a coupon for $20 off a $100 purchase!

Online registration for the virtual event is available until Saturday, August 6, at midnight.

Race-day registration is also available starting at 8:00 a.m. at Imerman Memorial Park. 

Shirts are back!!! If you would like a shirt, please order by July 21, 2022 to give us enough time to have them ready on race day. If you are a virtual participant in the United States, we will mail your shirt(s) to you free of charge. (Sorry, U.S. shipping only.)

Ordering is easy: When registering for the race, an option will pop up to add a shirt. If you would like to purchase a shirt without registering for the race, you can do so at our Race Store.

All proceeds benefit the Joana D. McKeoun Memorial Scholarship.

No frills, no age group awards, but an accurately measured course, a timed race with results, and overall winner award for the male and female champion of the 5k.

Joana McKeoun passed away in 2013 after a 5 year battle with brain cancer, just 9 days after her 21st birthday. This scholarship was established to help local students get one step closer to achieving their dream of attending college - a dream Joana never abandoned and made a reality!
