5th Annual Bird Walk for Recovery Race Description
The 5K Bird Walk is 5 YEARS old and this year we're going VIRTUAL.
That's right you can participate from wherever you are.
This is a fundraiser to support individuals and families in recovery from substance use and mental health concerns.
Let's end the addiction and mental health related stigma that prevent so many from seeking treatment and in so doing help people understand that it is OKAY not to be OKAY.
Proceeds from this year's walk will benefit Overdose Lifeline a 501c3 Indiana non-profit and their many programs and services.
Our walk will be virtual on the ZOOM platform September 4. Remember to leave a valid e-mail address when registering so that you receive the ZOOM- ID. Be sure to log your time and your mileage in the ZOOM chat box.

Our speaker this year is Jason Murrey a member of the Indiana Recovery Network. Jason is a prevention specialist and former suicide prevention coordinator for the State of Indiana. Jason will help us understand how we are more alike than we are different.
