Runners will endure a 5K run through a zombie-infested course. Test your speed, endurance, and strength while trying to avoid ravenous zombies!
Runners will have flags that represent their health. Zombies will try to steal those flags. Runners must make it to the finish line with at least one flag or become one of the walking dead! All participants receive a free 5KRunDead t-shirt, refreshments, and a chance at great prizes! Event details and schedule:

Not a good experience!
This was the most disorganized event! Only had 2 make-up artists (not everyone was able to get make-up), run started early so everyone was scrambling, zombies didn't have guidance on where to go, no first aid, no water given out, award ceremony was not as stated...nothing for most flags for runners or zombies, DJ but no after party, no snacks, A LOT of cheating. Their site did claim to do/have many of these things: http://www.5krundead.com/faq.html
