5K Run & Walk Race Move Beyond Witness Description

MBW 5K Run & Walk takes place along the scenic Mystic River in Medford, MA. The race will start and end at the Mystic River Bend Reservation located next to Hormel Stadium. This race is sanctioned by USATF. Participants are welcome to join us after the race for entertainment and refreshments. Proceeds from this event will benefit Congolese Genocide Awareness (CGA) in the support of D. R. Congo war survivors. The Moving Beyond Witness Movement is a national campaign to inspire community led initiatives that commemorates the past century of genocide and creates solidarity among people willing and able to respond to ongoing modern day genocides around the world.
