Want to get outside and get active? No problem! You can run, walk outside (or on your treadmill), ride your bike, anytime, anywhere, but it will be more fun if you do it virtually with CARE! Spread cancer awareness and breast cancer awareness in October. Reminder: Ladies, schedule your mammogram and tell your loved ones to schedule their mammogram.
So, Join Us! Register for CARE’S Virtual Run/Walk/Ride and complete it anytime and anywhere during event period beginning October 15 and ending October 30, 2021 and help give back to a great cause! Your donation to Cancer Aid Resource & Education will help to continue provide assistance to cancer patients and their families.
What does your participation include? Any time beginning October 15 and ending October 30, 2021, you will participate in the walk/run/ride of your choice. We want you to make this exciting by taking a picture of yourself live in your walk/run/ride pose and getting creative. You may want to hold a poster that says, "I Support CARE!" You can proudly post your picture on your Facebook page. It will be a fun way to show your support to helping local cancer patients in our community! The following is available to you:
1. Print your bib by clicking on "Manage My Registration" and clicking on "Print Digital Bib"
2. You can fundraise by clicking the on the Fundraise bar and entering your info
3. You can make an additional donation at registration checkout
4. Upon completion of your run/walk/ride, you can enter your time and can print your certificate, cool!

CARE’S Mission Statement:
CARE intervenes on the financial toxicity of cancer by providing financial support for basic living needs to people who reside in Dona Ana County recently diagnosed with any type of cancer and are in treatment to cue, shrink or stop the progression of their cancer, so they may focus on treatment, healing and recovery. CARE’s goal is to be part of the solution to improve health outcomes and cancer survivorship.
What does CARE help with?
CARE helps recently diagnosed eligible cancer patients residing in Doña Ana County with gas cards to get to treatment, groceries and nutritional supplements, self pay health insurance, utilities, rent or mortgage, phone, and lodging, airfare and meals if needing to travel for treatment, etc.
Corporate/Business/Organization/Individual/Team participation and donations are welcome!
