2016 - Point Breeze Community Health Clinic 5k Race Description
Miriam Clinic-Point Breeze: A free/affordable FQHC with a strong veteran and underserved community focus, and staffed almost entirely by neighborhood providers volunteering in whatever capacity they can is expected to open its doors in January 2017. Miriam Clinics are a 503c Nonprofit through WGM and donations are tax-deductible.
The 5k run and 1mi walk are fundraiser to convert a residential property donated by the Tasker Street Baptist Church into a 3 exam room clinic.
