Yellow Brick Run Half Marathon

The Yellow Brick Run is a 13.1 mile half marathon between the communities of Osborne and Downs in beautiful North Central Kansas. The event is open to all ages and has three categories: walk, run, or bike. Entrants can participate alone or on relay teams. The event is sponsored by the Osborne and Downs Chambers of Commerce and raises funds for the Osborne Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship and Downs Junior Chamber Scholarship.

Registration for all events is $30 through April 2, 2018. Registration fee increases to $40 after April 2, 2018. Online registration will close April 2nd, but registration will also be available the day of the race.

Registration - 7:30-8:30 a.m. Lakeside High School, Downs, or Osborne Public Library, Osborne

Race Start for Both Bicycle Events: 8:30 a.m. at Lakeside High School. Race Start for Running Event - 9 a.m. at Lakeside High School.

13.1-MILE ROUTE: Begin at Lakeside High School, continues south on Morgan Avenue/Highway 181, turns right on County Road 388, continues on Main Street in Osborne, and finishes at the Osborne Public Library/Osborne City Park.

EXTENDED BIKE ROUTE: A 40-mile, extended bike route will be available that day for those who wish to do so.

Transportation will be provided for participants to get to Downs to Osborne and back after morning registration and throughout the event.

Community Hamburger Lunch: $5 per person ~ Noon - 2 p.m. at Osborne Public Library. PARTICIPANTS OF EVENT EAT FREE (Included in Registration). Free live entertainment after the event!
