WSIA San Diego 5K

Headed to the WSIA Marketplace in San Diego?  Kick off your Marketplace morning with ocean views, fresh air, and great company. The WSIA 5K is an easygoing, out-and-back run/walk designed for all paces—whether you’re chasing a PR or a sunrise selfie.

**Please Note: This event is not sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with WSIA.  It is being presented by Sunlight Solutions who will be in attendance at WSIA and proceeds from the event (minimum $1,000) will be donated to the WSIA Education Foundation.**

Event Snapshot

• Who: WSIA Marketplace attendees, exhibitors, and guests
• What: 5K (3.1 miles) timed run/walk; strollers and walkers welcome
• Where: Embarcadero Marina Park North/ San Diego waterfront (start/finish near the Convention Center)
• When: Tuesday, September 16 @ 6:30 am

Course Highlights

Enjoy a flat, fast route along the harbor with views of:

• Embarcadero Marina Park & marina slips
• The bayfront promenade and skyline
• Iconic ships and piers as you cruise the waterfront

What You Get

• WSIA 5K bib and finisher token
• Hydration stations on course and at finish
• Finish-line refreshments (water and snack)
• Onsite support: medical, course marshals

Schedule (Day-Of)

• Packet Pickup: Opens ~45 minutes before start near the start arch
• Warm-Up & Announcements: ~15 minutes before start

Registration & Policies

• All participants must sign a waiver.
• Event is rain-or-shine; severe weather may delay or modify the start.
• Please wear your bib front-facing and visible.

Tips for a Great Race

• Arrive early, hydrate, and bring a light layer—mornings on the bay can be cool.
• Mind headphones volume to hear course instructions.
