As the days grow longer, the training grows stronger and just in time to test your legs and stamina in the third leg of Complete Race Solutions trail triple crown series, the Wolfe’s Run 10K !!
Once again we will honor the memory of King of the Mountain’s George Mattera who left us in 2021. We lost a great friend and race director Partner earlier this year . In addition to our traditional third leg 10K, Matt Lebow and the King of the Mountain team will be holding a memorial 5K trail walk and a 5-7 mile mountain bike ride in memorial as hiking and biking were a passion of George’s. The trail walk and mountain bike proceeds will go to a college fund established in his name for his two daughters.
The event is to be held at Wolfe’s Pond Park, Staten Island, NY. Come experience the woods, the trails, the pond and the clear ocean views. Welcome the season of Spring which will be in full bloom as you run, bike or hike hard as we remember George .
Additionally, if you register for the run you are welcome to join the hike or ride also.

Wolfes Run 10K
I arrived at the race site and was greeted with big friendly smiles. I was issued my shirt and number and told where to meet for the walk. I had such an enjoyable and knowledgeable walk. I never knew there were so many trails and water bodies at the Park. We all gathered afterward and spent the day sitting in the sun and picnicing. GREAT DAY in memory of a GREAT GUY!!
