Wings of Hope 5K- Fundraiser for the Cancer CARE Fund

We HOPE you'll join us in the fight against Lung Cancer! We're taking it one step at a time!

Saturday, November 8, 2025 

9:00 a.m. 5K WALK and RUN Begins

Family-friendly, run/walk for survivors, caregivers, and anyone touched by lung cancer. Lace up your shoes, spread your wings, and join us as we celebrate every breath. Walk in honor, in memory, or in celebration.

Wings of Hope 5k to benefit the FirstHealth Cancer CARE Fund: 

Established in 2000, the Cancer CARE Fund was the first of The Foundation of FirstHealth’s Community CARE (Clinical, Advocacy, Resources and Education) Funds. Since it's inception, over 2.8 million dollars has been dispersed to cover the vital needs of cancer patients. Every dollar counts.

100% of the proceeds from this race will go directly to helping our community members navigate cancer needs.

Cost for this race: $25 for adults and $10 for children 13 and under. FirstHealth Employee Discounted Rate: $15 (Must show current ID badge at registration)

There will be a ribbon awarded for the top:

• Male and Female Winners over 14
• Male and Female Winners 13 & under

Details about the Trail:

Enjoy this walk/run along a 5k trail with modest inclines circling the Pinehurst community among the beautiful longleaf pines and community. This trail is gravel and pavement. Strollers are welcome. Please only service animals.

Cancellations/Refunds:

No Refunds will be given, as this is a charity fundraiser with all funds going directly to the FirstHealth Cancer CARE Fund. We will have no way to refund you.
