Welcome Back to Trail Running Trail Series Trail Run no. 2 Race Description
Our planning, patience, and persistence have resulted in:
1, rescheduling our April, June and July events to September 6th in the midst of the "Safer at Home Orders"
2. Waiting for some type of "All Clear" sign
3. Working the previous two weeks in finding locations that would allow us to host events.
We are thankful to Lake Geneva Ziplines and Adventures (Lake Geneva, WI) for allowing us to resume our trail running this summer.
In order to work around their busy time of year, the trail run will start at 6:00 pm.
We will have a contactless packet pick up for pre-registered runners/walkers. Same-day registration will be available but payment will be cash or check only.
The distances for each of the events will be: 3-4miles and 6-8 miles, the final course route has not been determined. It will be different from the previous Welcome Back events.
I am not sure of the swag for any of the events at this point, but we will have a couple of choices as is our tradition.
We will not be serving food in June but will have a beer, soda, and water. If you would like food you are welcome to bring it.
This event is dog-friendly, but there will not be any canicross division.
Those that have run these trails in the Fall, Winter and Spring know how amazing they are, but I have a feeling they will be completely different trails with the signs of Summer on the trees and undergrowth in full bloom
