Vow to Drive Sober 5K/1 Mile Run, Walk, Wheel Educational Event & Expo

The Next Step Foundation Team Brandon has planned its 3^rd Annual Vow to Drive Sober® 5K & 1-Mile Run/Walk/Wheel Educational Event and Expo to be held on December 7, 2019, adjacent to Chase Field in downtown Phoenix. The event aims to recognize National Impaired Driving Prevention Month and educate the public about making wise choices before getting behind the wheel after they have been drinking. Our goal is to have 500+ runners/walkers/wheelers of all ages and abilities. With extensive pre-event TV and radio publicity, social media, and City of Phoenix involvement, The Next Step Foundation Team Brandon aims to reach 50,000 citizens. We're planning on having a variety of exhibitors including law enforcement, community groups, professional sports team mascots and players. Tim Roemer, who serves as the State of Arizona’s Deputy Director of Homeland Security and as Governor Ducey’s Public Safety Policy Advisor, will be kicking off the event. This event is dedicated in the loving memory of Brandon Gray of Team Brandon ~ June 12, 1980 - January 21, 2019
