Volition America Half Marathon and 5K- Elk Grove

Join us in the Busse Woods Trail System for the Volition America Half Marathon and 5K. This half marathon series is the first of it's kind to honor America through running and is steeped with patriotic distinction. Half Marathon and 5K participants will receive a Volition America Technical T-Shirt and Finisher Medal. 

This chip timed, USATF certified course offers a scenic view of the Ned Busse Forest Preserve. During your run, you will pass an elk habitat, fish preserves, forest and prairie lands. After victoriously crossing the finish line you can refuel with a variety of refreshments and enjoy live entertainment in our finish festival. 

New this year: The Double Duty Challenge. Run in both Volition America Illinois events on June 4th & September 11th and you will get a third finisher medal showing your accomplishments! You only have to register once- just choose the Double Duty option on your registration and you will be entered into both races. This registration is only available through June 4, 2016.
