Viking Sports Parents Virtual 3.5 Mile Walk/Run & Kids Races

We waited with high hopes for have an in person race but unfortunately, due to the current guidelines around COVID-19, this year's race will have to be a virtual race.  We did not want to cancel it all together and we hope it is still a time for our community to bond in these unusual times.  We are close to in more in person events so lets make this our "almost out of COVID" event.  All those who register by 5/10/21 will receive one of our sought after race t-shirts more info to come when available for pick up. We ask that you all do your run/walk at your leisure over the 4 days Memorial Day weekend 5/28-5/31.  Please send us pictures and we will put together a slide show to show our Viking Pride!

We are so disappointed not to see everybody in person, but next year we WILL be back together.  So remember, the run/walk is 3.5 miles and the kids runs are:

PreK-K 50 yard dash

Grades 1-2 100 yard dash

Grades 3-4 350 yard run

Grades 5-6  440 yard run

Feel free to socially distance and run with friends/family - we would love to see you together enjoying the event, but no large gatherings please.

As you all know this is one of our biggest annual events and we are disappointed we had to change the format againthis year, but this community knows how to bond and make the best of different circumstances!

Registration is open.  Sign up and share with your friends and family that want to sign up.  If you register by 5/10 you will receive a race t shirt.  Our proceeds will be applied toward scholarships for qualified graduating senior athletes in the form of scholarships.

*Student althletes that register AND send us a photo of you running or walking that weekend will earn a VSP point. Remember you need to earn 8 before your senior year and 10 by the time the scholarship application is due your senior year.  Don't put off your points.
