Stronger Women Stronger World 5K Obstacle Challenge Race Description
The Stronger Women Stronger World 5K Obstacle Race is sponsored by The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Northwest CT YMCA and Torrington Missfits Boot Camp. The race is designed to challenge your strength and endurance through a series of obstacles including cargo nets, wall climbs, hill sprints among others! The race will be held at Northwest Regional #7 School in Winsted, Connecticut. All money raised will be donated to local charities to help women and children including The Pink Rose Fund, Torrington YMCA Youth Sports Initiative, Susan B. Anthony and The Sunrise Foundation.
This race is open to any woman 8 years or old. Teams are encouraged to register. Race awards and race t-shirts will be given out.
Volunteers will be needed at obstacles, registration and other tents as well so be sure to check out the website to find volunteer information.
