The SeeSmart Scenic is gaining in popularity, as is the conference it supports. The outbound path is a pleasant uphill challenge with a run-for-your-money downhill return. The run is a closed loop with no traffic, no interference, just peace! Lake Aberdeen in the early morning is awe inspiring, especially if you come early for the sunrise. The Blind Eye DJ will keep things lively again this year and there will be lots of Door Prizes to make for the perfect wrap-up.
Be sure to gather friends and sign up as a team.

Proceeds from the SeeSmart Scenic will support "Seeing HIDDEN DISORDERS 2020--Right in Front of Our Eyes", the 4th annual continuing education conference for everyone. Continuing education units will be available. The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of the presence of vision/visual processing disorders that impact a child's ability to read and remember and sometimes to balance (think running) or even socialize. Children with these disorders are often very bright--"in everything but school!". Once identified, there are remedies that will set the child on a course to reach his/her potential. For more information go to SeeSmart.org. (Our new web page with information about the conference will be available after 11-15-19.)
Early Bird Registration ends April 4 at midnight. Cost after the deadline is $30 except for students and military, and no T-shirts will be available. Sign in by 7:15 a.m before the run. And if you love gorgeous sunrises remember to come early with your camera. Sunrise will be at 6:19 am.
