Salmon Run 5K Race Description
This race takes place in downtown Huntsville to help support the Battle of the Buffalo. All money raised at the race and the wing festival that follows goes to help cancer patients and research. We work closely with HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, and Russel Hill Cancer Foundation Institute to find out what patients need and what equipment the researchers need to continue their work. The event is held by the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity in remembrance of Paul "Fish" Salmon who passed away after battling cancer for several years. Paul was a brother and leader in the Theta Pi chapter of ATO at UAH. His favorite food was Buffalo wings and so the wing festival was born. Thanks for supporting!
