This was a very fun race. Race Director Paulette does a thorough job with all details. Extremely well marked course, enthusiastic volunteers and a great course for a fast trail race. The course is made up of two loops, a 3 mile outer loop followed by a 2 mile inner loop. The 5 mile race does one circuit of the two loops. The 10 and 15 mile races repeat as necessary. Both have rolling hills and pretty views. As trail races go, it is not very technical. Any rocks and roots are small and easily managed. At the junction of the two trails is a well stocked aid station. This is a good race for both those new to trail running and experienced trail runners.

Thank you for a wonderful race! The course was very well marked and organized. This is a race I will surely do again!

Ritter Rocks
Enjoyed the course with its challenges plus the markings/course marshals making sure I didn't stray. Having the 5, 10 and 15-mile options meant plenty of opportunity to see other runners and choose the best distance for yourself. Meatless chili (one of the options) hit the spot afterward along with some coffee, too.
